Sculpture
a young man, arising from the stone, sling in hand
I like making things. Generally, I use everyday household items, that can be found...well...in my house, to make my sculptures. I haven't made very many--one I made in 3rd grade--but that still doesn't make it fun to create something out of nothing. Here they are:
- Big Wheel
This one I made in third grade, oh so long ago. I not sure why it does not have a seat or pedals, but I still like it and keep it on the mantle. I am surprised it survived this long.

- Electric Guy
We had the power in our house upgraded and there was a lot of wire and electrical pieces left over (replaced--not "left over" like when you are trying to put together the toy on Christmas Eve at two in the morning). His head is the old electric meter, with ear bud eyes, a old fuse nose, and a faucet handle mouth. His body is a bicycle handle bar and front fork. I junk picked the bike and cut it up. Added some nice clothes too. My wife doesn't really like him, so if you do, make me an offer.

- Angry Old Man
I made this during a Family Clay Class at the Whetstone Community Center in Columbus, OH. It was more like free play with clay--here is the clay, make stuff. My philosophy. Maddy and Alex had a great time. I did too. It is about actual size and has my hair cut.
