madZander is the concatenation of the names of my children: Madeline and Alexander. That and it just sounds cool. So, madZander it is.

My name is David and I do stuff:

• Teach: Kindergarten, K-1 Multiage, and Technology Specialist
• Instructional Coach: As an NUA Literacy Coach, Instructional Technology Coach, Cognitive Coach, and Thinking Maps (tm) Trainer
• Write: Haiku, mostly
• Paint:Watercolors, acrylics, and mixed media
• Code: Action Script for Flash CS3, HTML
• Develop Websites: Currently, Education and School Sites
• Cook: Maybe it is because I like to eat so much--which is why I run
• Run: Slow, but determined--26.2 is a long way
• Make stuff: Books, sculptures, widgets
